Coding the Multiverse

I handle infrastructure consulting and cloud architecture development and management for several startup to midsized web software companies. I also provide DevOps automation and management services. I am currently working on a platform as a service (PaaS) framework to help take these skills to the next level by offering a customizable platform for my clients. Together with my wife, Courtney, we have built this business from a small part-time freelance gig making a little bit of extra cash into a thriving technology company that is a full time responsibility showing growth every year.

I provide administrative support and accounting services for the company. I manage outreach, scheduling and marketing for the company including emails and phone calls with potential leads. I also manage the company's finances and accounting. Since the beginning, I have helped Jay keep track of new leads as well as providing progress updates to existing clients while he focuses on engineering and technical work. As our company grew into a full time business, we faced many tax related challenges. I spear-headed the formation of our S-Corp and worked with a CPA to help us navigate the tax code and keep our business in compliance with the IRS as well as the Alabama Department of Revenue and the Department of Labor.
